Reicofil Meltblown Production - Two Technologies - One Supplier

Absorbent, elastic, or very high filtration and barrier properties? REICOFIL® offers technologies for all properties. With REICOFIL meltblown single row and multi-row technology you will always be able to produce the right meltblown fabric for your application.

Single Row Meltblown Technology - Optimum Barrier and Filtration Properties

In the REICOFIL single row meltblown process, polymer is spun through a spinneret provided with hundreds of holes in a single row. Streams of hot air exiting at both sides of the spinneret tip attenuate the polymer melt to form the finest filaments which subsequently get blown by high velocity air onto a collector screen. The result is a meltblown fabric with excellent barrier and filtration properties. The continuous fibers produced by the single row meltblown process have a diameter below one micrometer. This makes them suitable for the production of highly demanding HEPA filters with H12 filtration effiency. In the REICOFIL single row meltblown process all filaments are stretched across the whole die width at exactly the same temperature. The uniform stretching results in a constant fiber quality over the entire material web. REICOFIL offers single row meltblown lines in widths from 1.0 to 5.2 meters.

Multi-Row Meltblown Technology - Perfect Elasticity and Absorption Properties

In the multi-row meltblown process, the polymer melt is spun through a spinneret provided with up to 18 rows of fine nozzles. Depending on the application of the technology, the filaments are horizontally blown onto a drum or vertically onto the collector screen. The result is meltblown fabrics of extremely high elasticity and good absorption properties. High output rates can be achieved depending on the fiber diameter produced. Multiple rows allow for up to 12,000 nozzles per meter and fibers ranging from 1-25 microns.

Combining REICOFIL Single Row and Multi-Row Technologies - The Innovative Interchangeable Cassette

Use both technologies in one line. REICOFIL's interchangeable cassette allows you to change between REICOFIL single row and multi-row technology, which is comparable with a standard die change. The cassette can be retrofitted to all REICOFIL meltblown lines.
