Jet Strips for Hydro Entanglement

Enka Tecnica GmbH has combined 30 years of experience of producing precision thin-wall spinnerets for acrylic and acetate yarn with a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to offer high quality hydro-entanglement jet strips at competitive prices.

Enka Tecnica has long been recognized as the world's leading supplier of spinnerets for extruding yarn, including spinnerets for the melt spinning process and precious metal spinnerets for wet spinning. In February 2007, Enka moved its jet strip and nonwovens spinneret operations into a new modern manufacturing facility equipped with the latest in highly-automated machine tools.

Enka Tecnica precision jet strips have a mirror-polish finish and perfectly formed capillaries in order to have uniform collimated water jets. The jet strip material must be very hard to prevent wearing or rounding off of the critical edge at the entrance to the capillary. Enka Tecnica offers three different grades of steel hardness depending on the water pressure being used. The two very hard steel grades for the higher water pressures are of their own proprietary steel.

Enka Tecnica offers custom-made jet strips to customer specifications according to length, hole size, hole density, and the number of rows of holes - all with absolute accuracy and at extremely competitive prices.
